Dear Colleagues,

From its inception the Annual Conference of the Sociedad Mexicana de Ciencia y Tecnología de Superficies y Materiales ( Mexican Society of Science and Technology of Surfaces and Materials) has been an important forum for the Mexican scientific community to discuss topics related to research in the fields of surface and materials science.

Theconference program includes plenary talks short courses, and the various  symposia featuring oral and poster presentations In addition to the scientific program, there will be a Science Outreach symposium, a traditional forum that brings together students and the general public to engage with the Society’s work.

We hope that the efforts of the organizing committee, sponsors and colleagues will lead to an engaging and friendly gathering, providing opportunities for close and new interactions among researchers from diverse institutions.
